“ We came here for dinner on a Saturday night. We sat at the bar, as there were not any available tables, so I do suggest getting reservation if you want a table, especially on a weekend. Eating at the bar was great, though. We had friendly, attentive service. The bartender made great recommendations. The bar is cool because it was transplanted from an old saloon in Dodge City, KS, so not only is it beautiful, but it lends to the old west vibes you get while visiting Hico. The food and drinks were delicious. We had the green goddess salad, sourdough focaccia, ribey, lamb shank, and bread pudding. The atmosphere was great, down to small details in the decor. We will return when in Hico again. ”
“ 5 -Stars all around Lunch time date with my wife, beautiful decor. Clean and welcoming restaurant! One of the owners Shannon came by and welcomed us, as first time visitors this will not be our last. ”
“ Can you say "Wow".. What a beautiful restaurant (food, service, overall ambiance) in Hico, Texas. My sister treated our 94 year old father & 92 year old mother to just a day out in Hico. They live in Granbury. First, a young lady saw us coming in and quickly held the door open and greeted us with a warm, friendly smile..." Welcome." Nice friendly crowd in restaurant..all seemed to be truly enjoying thier food. Waitress Shelly came to the table with amazing energy and personality.. She greeted each of us.. answered questions off menu..gave some great recommendations.. The Chef at Oma Leen's does some incredible dishes here.. The food selections, the drink list, (loved the wine choices) all made this first-time visit amazing! Sister had the Brasied chicken (Coq Au Vin) and Dad and myself the Trout plate. We shared some salads.. Buttermilk biscuits and ended with fantastic desserts.. If you haven't tried or if you're visiting the Hico area.. A must stop for an amazing dining experience.. breakfast, brunch, lunch, or a special meal.. And never mind that chef Shannon might stop by your table. She asked about our experience, took the time to share stories, blessed our parents for 74 years of marriage, and thanked them for taking the time to experience her amazing place for dinner. We definitely will recommend to friends and families.. Great job, Team Oma Leen's ”
“ This place is super cool! Wonderful cocktails, excellent service, and delicious food. We were passing thru town and stopped on the way up to grab a cocktail and appetizer or something. Amazing bar from old Dodge City and beautiful drinks. The chicken tacos were superb. Stopped for brunch on the way back thru and had truly great bloody Marys. The biscuit bites were perfect treats. Genevieve was fun, dedicated, and made our experience so worthwhile! MUST STOP at this place anytime you’re going thru Hico! ”
“ The first word that comes to mind is: WOW. Everything was top notch; shareables, entrees, cocktails. If you pass this place up, you’re seriously missing out. And Genevieve B. was an absolute doll and her tortoise shell and/or clear glasses were super cute. She was knowledgeable and patient with us while we picked through all of the amazing offerings. As someone who doesn’t typically leave reviews, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity this time. Oma Leen’s deserves at least 10 stars all the way around. ”
“ What a hip and elegant Sunday brunch! Oma Leens has you at “hello”. Elegance and beautiful ingredients in their elixirs, entrees, and desserts will leave you wanting more. Share their chicken tacos at the bar; brunch in their dining room starting with those pillows of happiness aka biscuit bites and a scrumptious Bloody Mary. The Eggs Benedict and Chicken and Waffles will have you purring with happiness. Don’t skip out on the luscious bread pudding-easily a fan favorite for the whole table. Attentive staff makes you feel at home and is very knowledgeable and proud of their menu and product. Turn into Pecan Street as you drive through Hico, Texas and grab a table to enjoy as fast as you can! ”
